Journey & Bloom was born from a deep love for storytelling - the kind told through glances, quiet laughs, soft golden light, and the tiny in-between moments that usually go unnoticed.

What started as a hobby with a camera, a creative heart, and a love for capturing meaningful moments slowly grew into something more. Today, Journey & Bloom is a family-owned, veteran- owned business built by my husband and Jason and me, rooted in a belief that everyone deserves to have their story told beautifully and honestly. I'm not just here to snap photos. I'm here to see you, and to create something you’ll feel every time you look at it.

The name Journey & Bloom carries a special meaning for us. Life is a journey filled with seasons of growth, change, celebration, and new beginnings. We believe every chapter deserves to be remembered, and every person has a story worth preserving. While I’m the primary photographer and the person you’ll mostly work with throughout your experience, Journey & Bloom reflects the dream and support system we’ve built together as a family.

I’m based in the Lake Norman area, but I’ll happily wander wherever your story takes me. Whether it’s barefoot on the shore, cozied up at home, or somewhere you’ve never been but always dreamed of, I’m there.

This isn’t about perfect poses. It’s about real connection. It’s about the little details, your partner brushing your hair out of your eyes, your toddler's wrinkly nose when they giggle, the way you squeeze each other’s hands just a little tighter when you think no one’s looking.
